cms releases record 2024 enrollment numbers with new deadline details
If you thought you missed out on 2024 Affordable Care Health Insurance, don't worry. There's still time to enroll!
The Federal Marketplace is accepting applications until January 16, 2024.
My office will be open on the January 15, 2024 Federal holiday to help consumers get enrolled on the Marketplace exchange and until midnight January 16 when open enrollment officialy ends for 2024. In the meantime, my hours are extended, with the exception of holiday times to assist consumers in North Carolina, Virginia and Louisianna. Here's to wishing everyone well in 2024!
The Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services has announced today, Dec. 20, 2023, that over 7 million more Americans will have health insurance coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Federal Marketplace in 2024, marking growth that surpasses previous years milestone numbers. The day of December 15, which is typically the deadline for next year's coverage, saw more than 745,000 enrollments, the most consumers in history.
With the deadline extended to Jan. 16, enrollment is expected to continue at a record-breaking pace.
Looking to 2025, there is talk of DENTAL COVERAGE becoming part of the Essential Health Benefits (ESB) included in ACA Coverage.
